Teeth in a Day: Immediate Upper and Lower Implants for Severe Gum Disease and Bone Loss
Description
This recent Staten Island Teeth in a Day case began with extensive looseness, heavy staining, periodontal disease, gum disease, and significant bone loss around the remaining upper and lower teeth. Even when teeth have lost support from periodontal disease, the key question is whether careful implant planning can still find a stable foundation in the jaw. Dr. Hecht planned immediate upper and lower dental implant treatment to remove the compromised teeth and support a fixed implant-supported smile. The before-and-after photos document the change from failing, loose, stained teeth to a cleaner, fuller, more confident smile. The series includes a straight smile view, side-angle smile proof, and retracted clinical photos so patients can see both the visible smile change and the dental detail. The goal was an implant-supported smile designed for function, comfort, and a natural-looking result. Individual results vary.
